Nagad Receives ‘Excellence in Payout’ Award from EBL
Eastern Bank PLC (EBL) has awarded the ‘Excellence in Payout’ recognition to the digital service provider Nagad of the Bangladesh Postal Service. The fintech company received the honor in the 'Excellence in Business' category at the recently held EBL Digital Excellence Summit 2024.
According to a notification from the company, during the event on Tuesday at the BCCI Carnival Hall, Ali Reza Iftekhar, Managing Director and CEO of Eastern Bank PLC, presented the award to Nagad. Also present during the award presentation were EBL's Head of Retail and SME Banking, and Deputy Managing Director, M. Khorshed Anwar, and the Head of Digital Financial Services, Ahsan Ullah Chowdhury.
It is worth mentioning that Nagad has partnerships with almost all leading local banks in the country. This partnership allows customers to add money to their Nagad accounts from any bank or card, deposit installments for DPS loans at various banks from Nagad, and make various types of transactions or payments and bill payments using the Nagad app or USSD.
